here's a little activity my sister loves: get out lots of little snacks (apples, carrots, yogurt, maybe a few marshmallows, or else pretend food) and set up a "kitchen," and a "table". Make a menu, then bring it to them, take their order, and then give em the food. It's really fun for kids...and it's good to switch places too, they like being "in charge."
